Gerry is a nationally registered and state licensed occupational therapist with work experience in home health, adult day health, acute care and rehabilitation in the hospital setting, skilled nursing and geropsychiatric in the greater Seattle area. His personal and educational background specializes in working with older adults, but has also worked with individuals 18 and older with various mild to severe medical diagnoses. Gerry's home health experience has allowed him to assist individuals primarily through doctor referrals. Indeboom was created to assist anyone in the greater Seattle area not requiring a doctor's prescriptionmeet their long-term goal of safely remaining in their homes.
In addition to Gerry's work experience, he also has successfully completed and holds an Executive Certificate in Home Modification from the National Resource Center on Supportive Housing and Home Modification from the University of Southern California's Andrus Gerontology Center as well as holding a Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation from the National Association of Home Builders.
 
Gerry holds a Master of Education in Occupational Therapy from Springfield College and his Bachelor of Science in Health Education with minors in Kinesiology and Gerontology from the Pennsylvania State University.

Gerry specializes in working with individuals that are independent and want to remain independent.   Gerry understands what it takes to plan for the future if there has been a recent diagnosis of Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Multiple Sclerosis or other progressive neurodegenerative illnesses through 10+ years of professional and 20+ years of personal experience. Gerry can also assist with individuals who have had recent orthopedic surgeries or those that are having great difficulty remaining independent in the homes seeking instruction and education to be safe when completing their ADL's (activities of daily living).
